What makes a 'good' domain good?
A 'good' expired domain is one which has potential. Potential is most usefully indicated by a name having Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, backlinks or a DMOZ listing. MTW:ED determines these values for all expiring domains, allowing us to publish filtered lists. Many of the domain names we list can be monetized instantly, as they already have traffic and backlinks.
How is this data collected?
There are over 60,000 names expiring every day — nobody has time to analyze every one manually (that's about 1 per second!). So, the solution is this: develop software to analyze each of these domains for values such as Google PageRank, backlinks, Alexa rank and DMOZ listing. MTW:ED has spent over a year developing our software to perfection. Developing your own software can be timely, costly and may be restrictive in terms of data volume you can process. How much money can I make?
You can make a lot of money from buying, parking and selling expired domain names.
